The Venturing Phenomenon
Area 6 Venturing’s new annual program event!
You are cordially invited to attend this year’s Venturing Phenomenon which will be co-hosted by Area 6 Venturing and the National Capital Area Council’s VOA at Camp Snyder in Haymarket, Virginia during the weekend of April 20-22, 2012. This event will debut a new format of programming that is by, and for, Venturers. The program possibilities are phenomenal, and merely depend on the creative enginuity of the participating crews. Your Area 6 VOA and National Capital Area Council’s VOA will be available to assist your Crews with planning and execution.
As usual, the cost will be $45.00 for tent camping and $55.00 or cabins (limited availability). Meals will be provided. The A6VOA and NCAC VOA will release more details about the event and the available stations sponsored by the Crews as soon as possible. (Venturers will lead their own stations and rotate through the other stations; thereby, participating in all activity options.) Be part of the Ad-Venture!
Stations – What would your Crew like to showcase? Tamahawk throwing, knot tying, navigation, orienteering, cooking, parkour …. register soon and save your Crew’s station idea. Program options are granted on a first come first serve basis.
