The Northeast Region Venturing leadership team is led by the Key 3. The Key 3 includes the Northeast Region Venturing President (a Venturing youth member), the Northeast Region Venturing Chairman (an adult volunteer) and the Northeast Region Venturing Staff Advisor (an adult BSA professional staff member). Together the triumvirate guides, directs, and supports Venturing in the Central Region through a variety of methods. The Key 3, in addition to other members of the Northeast Region Venturing Committee, supports the councils and crews to help meet the needs and interests of the Venturers and Advisors in the Northeast Region. The Northeast Region Venturing President serves additionally on the National Venturing Cabinet and is one of the national officers for Venturing.

The Northeast Region Venturing President serves as a youth representative to the Northeast Region’s Executive Board and attends the Regional Executive Board meetings, BSA national meetings, and BSA national events. In addition, the President represents the Northeast Region as a member of the National Venturing Cabinet made up of all 4 Regional Presidents, the National President, and National Boatswain. The cabinet gives a youth voice to the Venturing Program on a national level with the National President serving as member of the National Executive Board. The Northeast Region Venturing President works with the Area and Council Venturing Presidents to support their programs.
